$2,500 Signing Bonus Immediate Openings - Day Shift 6a-6p & Night Shift 6p-6a
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Standards: Must hold a valid and current license to practice nursing functions in the state of Tennessee and a valid CPR, First Aid and AED Card. Must have working knowledge of practical nursing theories & policies. Requires excellent assessment skill, flexibility & good time management skills. Must attend In-service Education programs & meet facility In-service requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS : Extensive amount of walking, kneeling and bending required. May include lifting, pulling and pushing. Work may be performed inside and outside of the buildings. Mobility from one place to another - onsite and offsite is required. Out of town trips may be required. Use of computer skills are required.
SCHEDULE REQUIRMENTS: Mur-Ci Homes is a 24-hour 7-day a week facility that requires 24/7 nursing per ICF/MR Regulations. All direct support staff including nursing are subjected to mandatory shift assignments. These assignments may or may not be assigned with prior notice to staff. Requested paid time off will only be approved when it does not interfere with the 24/7 nursing coverage. All nursing set or regular schedules may change and or deviate based on department needs. These changes will come only from the Assistant Director of Nursing and or Director and may not come with prior notice to staff.
