This is considered an entry level position.
This position is a FLEX position and not considered a full time position.
Pay:

30 am to 2:
00 pm Monday, Tuesday Wednesday or 5:
30 am to 2:
00 pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Duties and Responsibilities Pull material from supply conveyor and place in supply box.
Slide springs or foam incase onto work table.
Scan law tag from cover into computer making certain computer has entered it properly.
Scan barcode on spring or foam incase unit to assure that it is the proper spring.
Observe computer screen after each scan to assure that it is entered correctly.
Place components, one at a time, in correct order, on springs securing them as required.
Rotate work table and glue, hog or c-ring corners of tick, ends and sides as required.
Flip mattress.
Repeat above steps.
Tucking in corner scrap around corners where applicable.
Rotate table and apply border or cover.
Remove mattress from work table and place it on tape edge conveyor.
Must send anything back to the sewing area that does not meet company standards, during or at the end of shift.
Must keep work area and all production dept.
clean.
May be required to work overtime to meet increased production needs.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPRERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
No prior experience or training SKILLS REQUIRED Must be able to communicate with supervisor and other employees in the department to maintain production needs.
Ability to read a limited number of words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers when scanning bar codes into computer.
Ability to check computer screen for accuracy.
Ability to recognize and understand bar code scanning using the scanner and read same on computer screen Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions on construction of variety of mattresses.
Ability to solve problems involving mattress production Working conditions The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
