We are looking for a Product Support Assistant for our Service and Warranty Department.
The Product Support Assistant role provides product support for WIRTGEN GROUP product lines in North America by delivering quality service and support internally to the Sales and Service Departments, as well as the WIRTGEN AMERICA dealer network and direct sale customers.
Key Job Factors:
Efficiently registers machines and engines, follows up with customers to ensure completion.
Processes all extended warranty applications, prints contracts and enters information into database.
Utilizes department resources referring to Product Support Manual guidelines.
Alpha Numeric filing organization and scanning of documents.
Various reports and projects assigned by Program Manager.
Answers incoming service calls and input customer information into online call log.
Creates new machine work orders for the sales department.
Posts machine inspection and receiving reports into SAP database.
Ensures work orders have been resolved before closing them out.
Processes notification letters to dealers of sold machines.
Completes registration for machines and engines, follows up with customers to ensure completion.
Partners with the Return Goods Authorization (RGA) department to process incorrect parts orders.
Ensures invoices are created for normal payable orders.
Records the time out in the field for all Field Service Engineers.
Manages the calendar for the service department.
Enters new customers into SAP systems and follows-up with customers as needed.
Ensure appropriate documents are uploaded into SAP.
Completes other assigned tasks as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.

years of work experience in a parts warehouse or customer service role.
Excellent customer service and communication skills (email & phone).
Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain accuracy working within established processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
