Responsibilities:
Summary/objective The Prep space manager primary role is to lead and manage the Prep Space within a Branch.
Will be directly responsible for managing the booking and administration of the prep space between both sales Markets and branch operations.
Will facilitate all tracking and administration of required supporting infrastructure until the successful completion of all assigned projects/orders to the space.
Ensure that each project/order is assigned and completed within the requirements of sales market and branch operations.
They will be responsible for overall performance of the prep space and will be tasked with providing strategic planning and development.
Will supervise day to day activities within the space.
Will directly interact with account executives/Market Project management, Clients, event staff, and branch operations to execute to the specifics of the project/order as defined by the respective stakeholders Essential functions Assign and administrate reservation demand to the prep space of the Branch Keep all Prep space calendars and associated bookings up to date and in sync Keeps both Sales markets and Branch operations aligned to conflicts against the requested space and potential solutions or alternate options Acts as the primary intermediary between all outside or external prep staff and branch operations Ensures all respective literature/information packets are issued and received in the areas of:
Safety Branch- Facility Orientation and guidance Rules of engagement to branch operations and Sales market requirements/protocols Reviews all additional requests to:
Temp Labor Material handling Additional supporting infrastructure - Chairs -Tables -Workbenches etc.
Logistical needs Single point of contact for the administration and coordination of the space associated to an order through its life cycle within a local branch Coordinate with branch Operations and stake holders on best options for desired outcome Ensures Prep space is clean and ready for next booking Interfaces with other Branch Operations and Sales staff as required Communicates as necessary to achieve goals and maintain standards
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Fundamental knowledge and understanding of entertainment technology and equipment Understanding of entertainment design principles and practices Attention to detail, proficiency in math, and experience using AMS, MS Office Strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Physical demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
The position requires the ability to see clearly (with or without the aid of glasses or contact lenses) during responsibilities on and off a computer.
Must be able to communicate effectively by listening and in both written and verbal forms.
Travel Travel may occasionally be required to on-site systems and facilities.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Understanding of and Compliance with Company Policies.
Required education and experience Extensive Entertainment industry experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent education, Bachelors preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience working in a Windows / MAC OS based environment.
Required education and experience 2
years of post-secondary education.

years of Industry related management and co-ordination experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
